Byredo’s Unnamed fragrance has been relaunched and will be available for a period of three months after repeated requests from the brand’s fans. The fragrance bottles can be customised with a typography set that comes with the perfume.
“The names of the Byredo fragrances often describe the origin of an idea, a thought that leads to a brief presented to the perfumer. With fragrance being completely subjective, these names spark the imagination of the perfumer and finally the customer. They each experience the fragrance even before they smell the ingredients in the bottle. We still find it fascinating that people interpret our fragrances in so many ways. We created an unnamed fragrance that allows our customers to choose a name meaningful to them.” said Byredo founder and creative director Ben Gorham.
The perfume’s top notes are woody and powdery with a hint of pines and turpentine, iris and violets are in the heart, pink pepper and icy gin add soft, fresh and spicy note in the base of the composition.
The nameless perfume was first launched in 2016 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Swedish luxury house.
The fragrance brand was founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham. Byredo is a portmanteau of By Redolence, meaning a pleasant smell in the Old English.
