L’Oréal USA has named long-standing employee Nathalie Gerschtein as president of its Consumer Products Division.

Speaking about the appointment, L’Oreal USA president and CEO Frédéric Rozé said: “Nathalie’s business acumen and vast experience within the Consumer Products Division will be a critical asset in driving strong acceleration of our omni-channel strategy. Her expertise in e-commerce, her vision to reinvent the in-store environment and her deep knowledge of the very strategic skin care category make Nathalie the perfect candidate to realise the modern, strategic direction of the Consumers Products Division in the US.”

Gerschtein joined the beauty heavyweight in 2002 as sales executive for eastern France and worked her way up to product manager for L’Oréal Paris hair care. She has since worked across its Asian divisions before moving back to the US as President of Maybelline New York, Garnier and Essie.
