Set deep within the desert landscape of Abu Dhabi, the Talise Spa at the Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort and Spa is a new getaway location for relaxing the body and mind.
Surrounded by desert aesthetic and focused on sensory experiences, the spa is positioned within an exclusive natural environment. Spa treatments are delivered in 13 luxury treatment rooms including couples’ suites and private terraces to elevate the experience. The spa consists of steam rooms, crystal salt saunas, plunge pools, and hammams inspired by traditional Turkish bathhouses. Also, another standout feature is the IceLab Cryo Therapy, where exposure to -110℃ (-166℉) for one to three minutes relaxes muscles and supports anti-aging.
The resort design is influenced by a historic village, consisting of rooms and villas that feature traditional Emirati details. The desert resort has over 22,000 sqm of sand dunes and 1,000sqm pool. Visitors can enjoy the sunset in one of six venues including the rooftop bar and Al Mabeet, a remote desert dining experience, or participate in yoga classes at the yoga pavilion.
Jumeirah Group chief executive officer José Silva said: “It’s important for us to have a portfolio in Abu Dhabi that reflects the true essence of the destination and offers a unique wellness retreat with exceptional service. The Resort joins Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort and Jumeirah at Etihad Towers - both in prime locations. It combines Arabian charm, architecture, generous hospitality and promises a luxurious experience amidst a panoramic backdrop. We look forward to welcoming our guests.”
