The 19th edition of Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition, Dubai Derma, took place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). Running under the theme ‘Skin Health is our Concern’, the three-day event brought together leading skincare specialists, top surgeons and physicians from across the globe under one roof to explore the latest technology advancements and medical treatments for different types of skin diseases.

Speaking about the key highlights at Dubai Derma 2019 ahead of the show, Dr. Ibrahim Galadari, Conference Chairman and Secretary General, GCC League of Dermatology said: “This year Dubai Derma features great discoveries in therapeutics for very common skin conditions such as vitiligo, atopic dermatitis and alopecia areata.”

He added: “The latest edition of Dubai Derma is even more special as we have the presence of many international and well recognised dermatology societies involved in various scientific sessions. As Dubai is home to more than 200 different nationalities, it is extremely important for local and regional doctors to raise awareness about maladies that may afflict those coming from different parts of the world. The representation from the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa in Dubai Derma is key to disseminating this crucial knowledge and information across the globe.”
